Description: SQL and secure assembly methods for SQL statements. Shell scripts and the corresponding attacks. Typical programming mistakes in PHP. Security of Java programs. Attacks that are specific to low level languages like C and C++ and the corresponding countermeasures. Attacks against web environments like cross-site scripting. Learning outcomes: Students know how to avoid common programming mistakes that create attack vectors in C/C++, SQL, bash, Java, PHP.
